Summary = Everyone is looking for an affordable, fantastic wine
these days. The wine experts are prophesizing a rise in the wine
market. The wine supply has again caught up with demand. That means
a rise in the price of wines. Everyone Press Release Body = Ramazzotti Wines is a winery born from the knowledge and expertise of Joseph & Norma Ramazzotti, vineyard managers and ranch owners from the Dry creek area of Sonoma County, CA, and winemaker Bob Keeble who truly captures the essence of the exceptional fruit by producing wine that is simply not handled too much. Joe and Bob have made wines from their heritage: 1) a cabernet blend called Regale that conjures up a rich past, exceptional fruit, hand-pressed into nectar then blended and fermented into perfection; and 2) a zinfandel blend called Ricordo that takes winemaking to the day of making a true Italian red table wine for your family. The reds are monsters, but the chardonnays have an equal amount of care and old school that separate them from the norm. Joe farmed a particular Wente clone vineyard for years until the fruit brought the quality he would put his name on. The fruit from the Mariani ranch Chardonnay has different characteristics from the Wente, which is why they made two Chardonnays. The two have been lovingly handled, and the Wente is unfiltered and unfined; in short, not over handled. “We just let fruit come through”, Joe finishes. Bob played with the fermentation and wood barrels, creating wine that not only lingers on your palate but lives in your mind. Their approach may be simple, but sophistication and great wines are their product. Finally, the Syrah and the Zinfandel Rose` cap off this year’s release in true Ramazzotti form: exceptional, unique and not over handled.
