Press Release Body = BEACH CITY, OH -- Sixty years ago, the EUB church opened Camp Wanake, a \"beautiful, spiritual place among the hills\" on a former apple orchard site just north of Beach City, Ohio.
Now operated by the East Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church, Wanake is planning to celebrate 60 years of ministry. As you can imaging, over 60 years, records tend to get lost, and contact information changes. Now, Wanake is in the process of seeking out former campers, staff, volunteers and anyone else involved with the site over the past 60 years to help celebrate the anniversary.

Anniversary events will kick off with a New Year\'s Celebration overnighter, on Dec. 31, 2005-Jan. 1, 2006. We will also have the Main celebration weekend Friday-Sunday, July 21-23, 2006, followed by Boomer and Seasoned Citizen Camp for alumni.
