Press Release Body = Rockford, Il, April 6, 2007 - Engineered Design Solutions has released v 2.0 of Chronos for AutoCAD, a time logging utility for AutoCAD. Supporting AutoCAD based products from release 14 forward, Cad operators, Cad managers, designers and project managers now have the means to easily document the time spent producing drawings. All users that access the drawing are logged and both edit and elapsed time are recorded. Chronos version 2.0 feature set includes adjustable timers allowing for periodic updates during the day - supplying the user with feedback into where resources are being allocated. Chronos\' new job logging capabilities inform the user of projects that are being worked on throughout the day. Also included in the latest release is the License Miser tool which provides the ability to control an automatic shutdown process of the AutoCAD session after a predetermined period of inactivity.
Chronos for AutoCAD is priced at $49.95 for a single user. Additional logged users can be added at a cost of $29.95 each. Multiple user discounts are available. A 30 day fully featured evaluation copy is available from the Engineered Design Solutions web site. During the evaluation period viewing of logged data is limited to 25 users. Once registered the product will track up to 256 users.
