Press Release Body: Barrington, NH — A media panel discussion will be held at the next seminar offered for Bisson Barcelona\'s continuing Author Seminar Series. The panel will include three notable authorities on NH media, including Donna Smith of NH Chronicle, Liz Bulkley of NHPR\'s The Front Porch and Gina Carbone of Seacoast Media Group. The event will be held on Wednesday, October 17th from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Barrington Middle School.
The panel will be moderated by Traci Bisson and Marci Hait of Bisson Barcelona who will lead the media in discussions about how authors can secure an interview. Participants will learn about the dos and don\'ts authors need to know when contacting the media to pitch their book, receive helpful advice that they can implement immediately, receive examples of good and bad pitches/press releases from other authors, and have the opportunity to ask panelists questions about what types of authors and books they feature.
This seminar is the tenth in a year-long series of seminars targeted at writers and published authors to help them understand and navigate the literary industry. The Author Seminar Series runs from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of every month. Seating is limited.
