Fresh To The Market Art and Antiques From South Florida Estates Offered by Mathesons` AA Auctions in Melbourne

Press Release Summary: Mathesons’ AA Auctions will close out the year with a 2-Day
sale December 29 and 30 featuring names like Chagall, Dali, Picasso, Icart and
Backus.

Press Release Body: (Melbourne) Mathesons’ AA Auction owners Lloyd and Jan Matheson
are once again pleased to announce an important sale of antiques and fine art
selected from various important South Florida estates. In addition, pieces from an
advanced collection of Asian Arts acquired in the 1960’s and 1970’s by a prominent
southern U.S. family will also
be offered. Many pieces have been exhibited at major museums. The bulk of this
estate will be sold at the Mathesons’ AA Auction sale in March, 2008.

Included in this sale will be works on paper by noted artists: Marc Chagall,
Salvador Dali, Chaim Goldberg, Louis Icart, Marie Laurencin, Joan Miro, Pablo
Picasso, George Rouault and more. American and European fine art by listed artists
include A.E. Backus, George Armfield, Camille Innocenti, Angelica Kauffmann, Don
Hazen, Jean Colegero, W.J. McCloskey, Emmit Fritz fabulous 19th C. huge “Horse Fair”
O/C with illegible signature and many more.

A quality selection of estate jewelry including several signed pieces by Tiffany,
Edwardian and Georgian gold, silver, and platinum set with diamonds and precious
stones along with designer customer jewelry will also be auctioned.

American and Continental furniture will include an 18th C. mahogany corner cupboard,
15th C. armada chest, Louis XVI French gilt parlor set, 19th C. huge 8’ x 12’
Victorian oak bookcase, pair of marble top demilune commodes, Italian Cassoni,
Flemish William and Mary tapestry sofa and 10 estate rugs and carpets.

A lifetime collection of more than 100 + pieces of Victorian and other cranberry
glass, Tiffany, Baccarat and Irish Crystal, Elliott Erwitt photographic portfolio,
quality porcelains including Wedgewood, Sevres, Hutschenreuter and Boehm will be
included in the sale. A pair of Black Forest eagle wall brackets, stamps, books,
duck decoys and sterling silver will also be featured.

The auction preview will be Friday December 28 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm and 2 hours
prior to the auction each day. The sale will take place on Saturday, December 29th
at 11:00 am and on Sunday December 30th at Noon.
