Press Release Summary: “Diyadeep adopts more than 60 orphan kids over a period of
one year through talent hunt events organized across the country.”

Press Release Body: The grand finale of the India Li\'l Prince & Princess contest
organized by Diyadeep on the 27th of December, 2007 at Sirifort Auditorium in New
Delhi was a huge success. The guests of honor included Jimmy Shergill and Shibani
Kashyap.
The show was organized with a two fold agenda – to provide a platform to young
talent and second, to support orphan kids by means of proceeds collected through the
event. So far, Diyadeep has adopted more than 60 kids from these events and is
sponsoring their lifetime education. Another 10 kids were adopted at the Delhi event
taking the tally to over 70.
The winners of each category received scholarships for 3 years followed by the
runners-up who received scholarships of two years and one year respectively.
Speaking on the occasion about the event, Jimmy added, “It is a good thing that
Diyadeep thought of this cause and asked me to associate with them. The society at
large needs to come forward for such events and support those children who have been
less fortunate than the others.”
Shibani Kashyap has been associated with the organization for almost a year now and
has attended all the events organized by Diyadeep. “For me, associating with
Diyadeep has been a great experience. There\'s nothing better than working for the
cause of supporting these kids.”
