Author, Dan Skelton, to be guest on ArtistFirst at Perceptive Marketing

[Springfield, MO] January 24, 2008 -- Dr. Dan Skelton, a retired professor of
English and theater at Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, Arkansas, will be
the guest at ArtistFirst Radio on February 11 at 7:00pm Central Time. Tony Kay of
ArtistFirst www.artistfirst.com will talk to him about his previous work and about
Renascence, his Christian fantasy novel told through the voice of a teenage drug
addict, which he hopes to finish by the end of 2008. Skelton is also working on a
chapbook of poetry tentatively titled Balm.

Skelton holds a doctorate in education from the University of Mississippi, Oxford
and a master\'s from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. He is an adjunct
professor at the University of Central Arkansas, Conway and at Arkansas State
University, Beebe, Arkansas. As well as a novelist, he is a poet, an actor, and a
board member and an award-winning play director at the Conway Community Arts
Association in Conway, Arkansas where he recently won Best Director for his
direction of the play, “Greater Tuna” by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears, and Ed Howard.
