Roni Deutch Tax Center(tm) Launches Interactive Site To Encourage Celebration This Tax Season

Released on: April 6, 2008, 1:37 pm

Press Release Author: roni deutch

Industry: Law

Press Release Summary: The employees of the Roni Deutch Tax Center™ are thinking
outside of the box this year by celebrating the 12 days leading up to tax day, and
encouraging taxpayers around the country to join in on the celebration! The tax
preparation franchise has setup a new site, 12DaysOfTaxes.com, where visitors can
enjoy interesting article and videos, and enter to win $500 in gift cards.

Press Release Body: North Highlands, CA -– To encourage taxpayers across the country
to celebrate tax season 2008, the Roni Deutch Tax Center™ has launched
12DaysOfTaxes.com where visitors can win $500 in gift cards just by sharing their
favorite thing about tax season.

“It always amazes me how many people fear the Internal Revenue Service and avoid
filing their tax returns,” explains Roni Deutch. “IRS statistics show that over
three quarters of the people who filed their tax returns in 2004 got a refund, and
the average refund was over $2,000.00. Yet, in spite of these numbers people are
still afraid of tax day. Every year the IRS announces that they have millions of
dollars in unclaimed refunds just sitting around waiting to be claimed.”

“That is why we launched 12DaysOfTaxes.com,” continues Deutch. “We want to encourage
taxpayers across the country to celebrate the 12 days leading up to tax day. Each
day our new site will feature a video, and an interesting advice article. Our hope
is that people will check out site each day through tax day, to join in on the fun
and celebrate tax season 2008. To help encourage the celebration we are even giving
away a gift package with $500 in gift cards, including BestBuy and iTunes. All you
have to do to enter is tell us what your favorite thing is about tax season.”

Millions of people recognize tax attorney Roni Deutch as \"The Tax Lady\". She has
been helping taxpayers nationwide resolve their tax liabilities for seventeen years.
As an industry leader, she has saved her clients tens of millions of dollars and has
helped thousands of families settle their back taxes. In 2006, Ms. Deutch launched
the Roni Deutch Tax Center™ to provide quality income tax preparation services to
taxpayers avoid back taxes in the first place.

“In addition to standard refunds, taxpayers have something extra special to
celebrate this year as well,” notes Deutch. “This summer the government is going to
send out economic stimulus checks to all the taxpayers who file a return this
season. In essence, just by filing a return you can get a check for hundreds of
dollars. Between these checks, and average refunds, why not celebrate tax season?”

Every day, through April 15th, 12DaysOfTaxes.com will feature a new page dedicated
to each of the days of taxes. The pages will each feature a humorous video with
employees of the Roni Deutch Tax Center™ and an article designed to encourage
readership.

The first day of taxes went live earlier today. It includes the phrase “on the first
day of taxes the government gave to me, a partial payment in a money tree,” being
sung by RDTC Inc. employee Sue Ann Wilkes. The associated article is titled “12
Different Ways Americans are Taxed,” and describes the following 12 different ways
to Americans pay the government:

1) Income Taxes
2) Business Taxes
3) Payroll Taxes
4) Capital Gains Taxes
5) Inheritance Taxes
6) Sales Taxes
7) Property Taxes
8) Excise Taxes
9) Gift Taxes
10) Retirement Taxes
11) Tariffs
12) Tolls
