\"We created these plates as we saw few good options for cute, personalized dinnerware that was practical,\" says co-owner Megan Howard. \"As we started designing the ones for kids, we realized how great it would be to have some for ourselves for outdoor dining and cookouts. We are excited to showcase our latest collection of designs that feature creative options for both children and adults.\"
As sisters with five children between them, Howard and co-owner Vicky Bratton founded My Clean Plate Club as they discovered the need for creative, yet durable dinnerware that was environmentally friendly. Some of the more popular designs for kids include the dinosaur, fairy and soccer ball while the grown-ups prefer the zebra with green monogram, the classic monogram and the polka dotty brown with single initial. The dishwasher-safe plates are $22 each or priced in sets. For only $3 extra, customers can add a hand-written gift card with a grosgrain ribbon tied on top.
