New Music Video for The G-Man Features Cars as the Stars

Released on: June 11, 2008, 4:48 pm

Press Release Author: Scott G/Songs and Soundtracks

Industry: Entertainment

Press Release Summary: Fast-paced music video for Go West On East Avenue from AUDIO
TAKES A STAND, the new album by The G-Man, is produced by FookMovie in Los Angeles.

Press Release Body: Using hundreds of brightly-colored cars, motorcycles, maps and
roadways, the new music video by FookMovie takes viewers on a wild ride. The
fast-paced video (sometimes with 10 images per second) is for the song called \"Go
West On East Avenue\" from the AUDIO TAKES A STAND album by The G-Man.

\"Go West On East Avenue\" is a spirited instrumental in a style some are calling
nu-groove. All 12 songs on AUDIO TAKES A STAND were mastered by Art Sayecki at Art
Mastering. In addition to \"Go West,\" videos from the ATAS album are available for
\"Dreams on the March\" and \"Beep Logic.\"

The complete video for Go West on East Ave can be seen here:

Combining rock, dance and ambient textures, AUDIO TAKES A STAND by The G-Man uses
subliminal harmonics to gradually put listeners in a trance. \"Sonic applications of
hypnotic euphoria\" is the album\'s subtitle. The 12 songs range from the Pink
Floyd-influenced \"Angels Behind Your Eyes\" to the percolating propulsion of \"Free
Nude Photos,\" with a weird side trip to \"Then Comes the Strange,\" which channels the
spirit of the late Frank Zappa.

The AUDIO TAKES A STAND album was created with the support of Minarik Guitars,
Roland guitar synthesizers, Sennheiser microphones, and
Pigtronix effects.

John Scott G (The G-Man) composes music for songs and commercials at G-Man Music in
