Brown and Jenkins Coffee Roasters Donate to Vermont Air Guard

Press Release Body: rown and Jenkins Coffee Roasters has donated coffee to troops
serving in Iraq for the past 2 years. Now, the Vermont coffee roaster wants to show
its appreciation of our troops in the Green Mountain State this Saturday. Sandy
Riggen, co-owner of Brown and Jenkins Coffee Roasters commented, “We heard about the
lobster bake through our head roaster, Glenn, and it just made sense to help troops
here state-side.”

Brown and Jenkins have also donated coffee through their “Grounds for Peace”
program. For $23, 1 bag is donated to the troops in Iraq and 2 bags are sent to the
purchaser.Brown & Jenkins adds to the contribution and pays for the shipping.
Riggens adds, “Many of our generous contributors ask us to ship all 3 bags to Iraq,
which is really nice to see.” Brown and Jenkins also encourage people to let them
know of other units who would enjoy a great cup of coffee. “Regardless of your
stance on the war, everyone wants to give a taste of home to those who are serving
our country so very far away from friends, family and loved ones. We saw a need for
this and we’ve been glad to help.”

The lobster bake this Saturday at the Vermont Air National Guard is sold out.
