Press Release Summary: Rocket Man Novel tells Story of Family Struggling to Keep
their Home. Death of the American Dream.

Press Release Body: Oak Park, IL, October 28, 2008 -- William Elliott Hazelgrove,
www.billhazelgrove.com, has done what all novelists are supposed to do: he has told
a story of his time. "I didnt' realize Rocket Man would be this watershed novel
where the story becomes our reality," the novelist said from his office in Ernest
Hemingway's home. "I wanted to describe a family in motion, trying to live the
American Dream and in the process of losing it, but that was before the whole
economy tanked." Rocket Man is the story of Dale Hammer, a writer living in a large
home with large cars and unable to keep up. When his father comes to live with him
over his garage, and he is appointed Rocket Man to head up an activity in his son's
Scout troop, the main characters life unravels in one week. Online reviewers are
already burning up the cyberhighways with reviews.

"William Elliott Hazelgrove's Rocket Man is a brilliant piece of writing, a work
that meticulously dissects American life with such a keen eye that the author is
able to catch passing glances at us all."
Grady Harp, Sixth Ranked Amazon Reviewer.

"Hazelgrove's fourth novel, entitled Rocket Man, is a satire about the search for the
American Dream and all the devestating and sometimes hilarious consequences that
accompany it."

The forty eight year old novelist had turned away from large publishers who wanted
him to continue writing books that resembled his earlier works set in the South. "I
just knew this book had to get out there, so I went back to the press that gave me
my start." Hazelgrove paused. " The main character handles his problems with humor
and wit, and maybe this shows people, that yes, times can get really bad, but it is
not the end of the world."
