Race River announced the launch of Integard Professional, a premium website filtering software

Released on: October 19, 2008, 11:59 pm

Press Release Author: Race River Corporation

Industry: Software

Press Release Summary: Race River, the company behind Integard, the advanced
internet filtering software for home PC's has released Integard Professional to help
businesses manage staff use of the internet and reduce lost productivity.

Press Release Body: The developer of Integard for home PC's has released a
professional version, a premium website filtering and content control solution,
designed using the latest technology.

The home PC version of Integard was developed in 2006 and is one of the internet
filters selected by the Australian Government as part of it's "Protecting Australian
Families Online" initiative.

The corporate version of Integard can run on a server, or on the desktop, has
increased flexibility in configuration, setting user and group profiles, remote
administration and management. It also provides a customisable internet usage
policy, warning and login pages.

Daniel Millerson, spokesperson for Race River said that most business owners and
managers are well aware of the damage caused by computer viruses, spyware, worms and
hackers. They invest in the necessary software and technical support to protect
their information systems. However, fewer businesses understand the cost of lost
productivity and resources as a result of their employee's personal usage of
internet.

Various research shows that the cost of employee non-work related activities to
American businesses is estimated to be more than $85 billion annually. The overall
loss in productivity is estimated to be 30 to 40 percent worldwide.

"The outlay for safeguarding business resources in comparison to cost of lost
productivity is insignificant however, not many business owners and managers
understand the magnitude of the losses". Millerson continued.

The cost of implementing filtering software is as low as $15 per year per employee.
Reducing one hour per year of lost productivity by installing a filter, will recover
the full outlaid cost. This could be the fastest return on investment for
businesses of any size.

The advanced filtering technology used in developing the home version of Integard
has been extended and improved for the corporate version to meet the needs of
businesses, schools and libraries.

Integard Professional is available for a one month free trial and can be downloaded
